A "knowledge item" is a piece of content you save using Obris. Each knowledge item consists of the text you selected (or the page content you chose to save), the source URL, a timestamp, and the topic you assign it to. A "topic" is a user-created folder for organizing knowledge.

This content originates from third-party websites and is saved solely at your direction for your personal use. Obris does not claim ownership of any content you save. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and use the content you capture.

Chrome Extension Data

The Obris Chrome extension requires permission to read content on the active tab when you initiate a save. The extension does not passively monitor, collect, or transmit any browsing data. It only accesses page content when you explicitly trigger a save action.

Obris may offer shared topics that allow multiple users to access the same set of knowledge. If you participate in a shared topic, knowledge within that topic will be visible to all topic members. You should only save content to shared topics that you are comfortable sharing with other members.
